Plasma Choline Levels in Humans After Oral Administration of Highly Purified Phosphatidylcholine (PC) in Capsules (2005-07-13) [PDF]

This study examines the effects of highly purified phosphatidylcholine (PC), given orally in capsules (softgels), on plasma choline levels among normal volunteers. Subjects received 3, 6, 9, and 18 g of PC, and blood samples were taken every two hours for a ten-hour period. A single dose of 9 g of highly purified PC doubled plasma choline levels two hours after its administration.
