The January 24 issue of Archives of Internal Medicine reported that the type of fats middle-aged men consume, may be of greater importance than the total fat intake in reducing risk of cardiovascular deaths. Researchers report that "Middle-aged men with proportions of serum linoleic acid, n-6 (omega-6) fatty acids, and especially polyunsaturated fatty acid in the upper third were up to three times less likely to die of cardiovascular disease than men with proportions in the lower third."
PhosChol, an "essential" phospholipid, supplies the organism with non-toxic (3-snphosphatidyl)choline molecules with a high content in polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular linoleic acid.
